We are currently hiring a String Instructor (Violin and/or Cello Teacher) to join our founding team. ⸻ Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and engaging private string teacher to teach weekly one-on-one lessons to beginner and intermediate students. This is a part-time contract position ideal for a professional musician, music graduate, or experienced private instructor. ⸻ Responsibilities Teach weekly private violin and/or cello lessons (30-60 minutes) Create structured, individualized lesson plans Develop strong foundational technique and music literacy Track student progress Communicate professionally with parents Participate in studio recitals and events ⸻ Qualifications Degree in Music (completed or in progress) preferred Previous private music teaching experience preferred Strong classical string background Experience working with children, teens, and adults Reliable transportation to Waxhaw Professional, punctual, and organized ⸻ What We Offer Instructor opportunity in a new, growing studio Consistent weekly students Administrative support (scheduling and billing handled by studio) Positive, growth-focused culture Room to expand your teaching schedule as enrollment increases ⸻ Interviews are being scheduled now for our April opening.
