Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Part Time Music Teacher to inspire students through the transformative power of music. In this role, you will deliver engaging music instruction tailored to diverse learning styles and developmental needs, fostering a love for music while supporting students' overall growth. This position offers a flexible schedule, allowing you to make a meaningful impact in a vibrant educational environment. You will collaborate with colleagues, communicate effectively with parents, and implement innovative curricula to nurture musical talents across various age groups. For Grades PreK- 5th grade
Schedule:
Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays 7:30am-3:00pm Duties Develop and deliver dynamic music lessons aligned with curriculum standards and individual student needs Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including those of students with disabilities or special education requirements Utilize learning technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) to track student progress and enhance instructional delivery Manage classroom behavior to create a positive, inclusive environment that encourages active participation Assess student performance through observations, assessments, and standardized testing, providing constructive feedback for growth Collaborate with fellow teachers on curriculum development, lesson planning, and instructional modifications Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, achievements, and areas for improvement Monitor children during lunch duty Requirements Proven experience in classroom teaching, preferably in elementary or private school settings with diverse student populations Strong knowledge of music education principles, including curriculum implementation and lesson planning Familiarity with learning technology tools, LMS platforms, and educational compliance standards Experience working with children of varying ages, backgrounds, including those with disabilities or special education needs Excellent communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration Skills in classroom management and behavior moderation to foster a respectful learning environment Background in literacy education, math integration, and instructional modifications related to music instruction is a plus Demonstrated ability to analyze student performance data and adapt teaching strategies accordingly Knowledge of childhood development stages and understanding of diverse cultural backgrounds in the classroom Join us as a Part Time Music Teacher and help shape the next generation of musicians!
