Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Violin/Viola Teacher to inspire students of all ages in the art of string instrument performance. This role involves delivering engaging lessons that foster musical growth, technical proficiency, and a love for the arts. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and expertise in both violin/viola instruction, while also contributing to a vibrant learning environment that nurtures students' artistic development. As a key member of our arts education team, you will help cultivate a lifelong appreciation for music and performance to our students. Duties Develop and implement comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to students' skill levels and artistic goals. Conduct individual and/or group lessons focusing on instrumental technique, musical interpretation, and performance skills. Manage studio environments effectively, ensuring a positive, disciplined, and inclusive atmosphere conducive to learning. Prepare students for recitals and performances by guiding lessons and rehearsals and providing constructive feedback. Maintain lesson plans, progress records, and assessments to monitor student development over time. Experience All levels of teaching experience of violin/viola to diverse age groups, including children and adults are welcome! Strong background in string instruments and experience working with children in youth programs are preferred. Knowledge of musical instruments maintenance and tuning procedures; experience with tutoring or private instruction preferred but not mandatory. Join us to inspire the next generation of musicians! Pay:
$25.00 - $45.00 per hour Expected hours: 1.0 - 3.0 per week
