Guitar Teacher (Classical) - The Fidler Conservatory of Arts Princeton, NJ | Flexible Schedule Join a Growing Pre-College Conservatory The Fidler Conservatory of Arts is a pre-college conservatory dedicated to developing the next generation of musicians and artists through a rigorous, inspiring, and individualized education. Our programs combine the highest standards of classical training with a nurturing environment that encourages creativity, curiosity, and artistic excellence. In addition to our pre-college division, we offer a Creative Foundation Department, introducing young children to music through engaging, age-appropriate instruction that builds a lifelong love of the arts and prepares them for formal conservatory study. As we continue to expand our Department, we are seeking an exceptional Classical Guitar Teacher who shares our commitment to excellence and enjoys working with students ranging from beginners to advanced pre-college musicians preparing for auditions, competitions, and conservatory pathways. What You'll Do Teach private guitar lessons to children, teens, and adults. Develop individualized lesson plans that support each student's musical goals. Prepare students for performances, recitals, competitions, and examinations (ABRSM, RCM, Trinity is a plus) Foster excellent technique, musical expression, sight-reading, and performance confidence. Communicate regularly with families regarding student progress. Participate in studio recitals, masterclasses, and special conservatory events. Qualifications Bachelor's or Master's degree in Guitar Performance, Music Education, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience). Strong classical guitar background. Previous teaching experience with students of varying ages and levels. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable, organized, and enthusiastic. Authorization to work in the United States. Preferred Qualifications Conservatory or university training. Experience preparing students for ABRSM, RCM, Trinity Piano accompaniment skills are a plus.
