Little Rockers, LLC

Private Music Instructor

Job Description

Piano & Guitar Teacher — Part-Time Little Rockers Music | [Location]
Pay:
$25-$30 per hour
Schedule:
Tuesday & Wednesday afternoons/evenings Little Rockers Music is looking for an enthusiastic, upbeat Piano & Guitar Teacher to join our teaching team! We specialize in working with young children and beginning musicians , and we're looking for a teacher who genuinely enjoys working with kids ages 5 and up . Ideally, we'd love to find one teacher who can teach both piano and guitar , but we are also open to candidates who specialize in one instrument. What We're Looking For The right person will be: Experienced and comfortable teaching piano and/or guitar Great with young children and beginners Warm, energetic, patient, and encouraging Someone who makes music fun and exciting Comfortable working with different personalities and learning styles Reliable, responsible, and professional A good communicator with both children and parents Able to teach basic musical skills while keeping lessons engaging and age-appropriate Someone who understands that with young students, building confidence and a love of music is just as important as technical progress Experience is important to us, but it's not everything! We are also very open to a teacher who may have less formal teaching experience but has a strong desire to work with children, a great attitude, solid musical skills, and a genuine passion for helping young students learn and have fun. If you are enthusiastic about teaching kids and think you'd be a great fit for our environment, we encourage you to apply. Our Teaching Philosophy We aren't a traditional, overly strict music school. Our goal is for kids to look forward to their lessons, feel successful, and develop a genuine love of music . We absolutely want students to learn proper technique and develop their musical skills, but we don't believe every lesson needs to feel rigid or overly structured. Especially with younger beginners, we want teachers who can be flexible, playful, encouraging, and creative. If your teaching style is more "Let's make music and have fun while we learn!" than "Sit still and practice this perfectly," you may be a great fit for us. Schedule & Compensation Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons/evenings Primarily teaching children ages 5+ Part-time position with the potential for additional students/hours $25-$30 per hour , depending on experience and qualifications Consistent weekly teaching schedule Supportive, family-friendly work environment A Great Fit for Little Rockers We'd love to hear from you if you're a musician who loves teaching and especially enjoys working with children. You don't have to be the most traditional music teacher—we're looking for someone who can connect with kids, make them feel comfortable, keep them engaged, and inspire them to want to keep playing.

Please submit your resume and a brief description of your teaching experience, including the instruments you teach and your experience working with children.
