We teach music lessons in instruments & voice, offer college preparatory programs & early childhood classes as well as performance opportunities for students of all ages & abilities. Our work environment is friendly & professional, collaborative and creative. We are looking grow our team and add to our already esteemed faculty. All instruments and voice but specifically in demand are percussion, strings, piano, voice and early childhood programs . The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching lessons, preparing students for performances and fostering our organization's growth and community. The ideal candidate will have excellent performance and teaching music skills, knowledge of theory and solfege, organizational skills, strong communication abilities, and the ability to work well in a team. This is a great opportunity for an individual who is looking to learn and/or take on a leadership role and make a positive impact on our organization.
Responsibilities:
Manage group and private lessons with students of all ages and abilities; Prepare students for exams, recitals and competitive opportunities; Develop lessons plans, customize curriculum based on the needs of individual students, assist in design and development of related music programs and services as part of the school offerings; Follow policies and procedures established by the management and assist in the initiatives of the organization; Collaborate with other teachers, administrators and management. An ideal candidate has the following characteristics: Commitment to students' schedule with minimal rescheduling or absenteeism; Punctuality and reliability. We prefer that our teachers have reliable means of transportation and strong attendance records. Experience teaching young children is a must. Bachelor's, master's or doctorate degrees in the instrument which they're teaching. Strong knowledge of theory; for vocalists, strong knowledge of solfege.
