•5 hours per week and build from there as their schedule fills. What You'll Do Teach private beginner violin lessons to adolescent students and small young kids group classes for beginners piano or general music education. Adapt lessons to each student's goals, learning style, and experience level Follow and adapt lesson plans Communicate professionally with parents, students, and staff Create a positive and encouraging learning environment Inspire students to stay engaged and excited about music What We're Looking For Intermediate level violin skills and musicianship Passion for teaching and helping students succeed Ability to connect with both children and adults Reliable, professional, and punctual Comfortable using basic technology such as tablets and apps Excited about helping students perform and grow Preschool teaching experience is a plus, but not required. Qualifications High school diploma Formal music training and/or strong understanding of music fundamentals Ability to read sheet music Teaching experience preferred but not required for exceptional candidates Available a minimum of two evenings / week or Saturdays Current Scheduling Needs We are especially interested in teachers available between 4pm

•7pm during the week. Saturday availability is a plus.
