Violin Teacher is responsible for on-site instrumental instruction: Teach violin class for approximately 10-15 students per grade (Preschool - 8th grade) Teach beginner level music fundamentals (unless students are advanced); use concepts of singing, rhythm and body movement. Work with the Artistic Director to assist you any concert rehearsal or performances Ability to tune instruments and repair any minor malfunctions Participate in regular planning and attend consultant meetings Communicate with parents and teachers Schedule flexibility; as we do offer string lessons in our after-school program
