Traveling Guitar & Piano Teacher Key Lessons123 is a strong independent business looking for an excellent guitar and piano teacher to join our company on the West side of the Rochester area. We are looking for someone who loves teaching both kids and adults and is enthusiastic about what they do. This is a traveling position where you will be teaching private guitar students in their home. Students can range from complete beginners to advanced. We start with children as young as 4 years old on piano, so being patient, loving, and creative is a must! This is a self employment position underneath our company. We will find all prospective students for you, and make a route that works for you based on your preference and days you are able to teach. Currently we are looking to hire someone who can work 4-5 days a week with piano as the main focus, and guitar as a secondary instrument. Teacher is able choose the days of the week they'd like to work Monday-Friday. Most teaching hours will be form 3PM-9PM when children are out of school; however if there is a high demand for adults or children that are homeschooled you may be starting at 1PM working until the late evening instead. You must reside within a 30 minute distance of Rochester to apply for this position. Responsibilities Be willing to travel to students homes to teach private 1 on 1 guitar lessons Provide individualized instruction to each student based on age and experience Must be patient, loving, and enthusiastic when teaching Must be able to work after school hours and into the evening Able to drive up to 35 minutes away from home location to teach private students Skills Thorough knowledge of guitar and piano playing and ability 2+ years of teaching experience or 15+ years of playing/performing without teaching experience •Please only apply to this job if you are serious and committed.
