Music Instructor - Vocal Coach, Piano Teacher

Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Music Instructor specializing as a Vocal Coach and Piano Teacher to inspire and nurture students' musical talents. In this role, you will deliver engaging, comprehensive music lessons that foster creativity, technical skill, and confidence across diverse age groups. Your expertise will help students develop their vocal abilities, piano proficiency, and overall musical understanding while creating a positive and motivating learning environment. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful impact on students' artistic journeys and personal growth. Responsibilities Implement customized lesson plans tailored to each student's skill level, learning style, and musical interests Provide expert coaching in vocal techniques, breathing exercises, pitch control, and performance skills for singers of all ages Teach piano fundamentals, including sight-reading, scales, technique, and expressive playing Incorporate curriculum development strategies to enhance lesson effectiveness and student engagement Manage classroom dynamics effectively to create a supportive environment conducive to learning and artistic exploration Guide students through performance preparation, including stage presence, choreography, and repertoire selection Assess student progress regularly, offering constructive feedback and adjusting instruction accordingly Requirements Demonstrated experience working with children and youth programs teaching arts or performing arts Strong background in music education with proficiency in teaching both vocal coaching and piano instruction Knowledge of curriculum development tailored to various age groups and skill levels Experience with classroom management techniques that foster discipline while encouraging creativity Skills in choreography, dance instruction, or theater experience are a plus for integrated performance projects Familiarity with teaching visual & performing arts, including musical instruments and instrumental performance techniques Ability to work effectively with students of diverse backgrounds and learning needs Join us to inspire the next generation of musicians!
