The Ninth Cloud is a small, growing organization that provides in-home music sessions for neurodivergent and special needs students. We focus on realistic, compassionate support in real family homes — not perfection, not performance. Position Overview We are looking for patient, reliable music instructors in the Poughkeepsie area to work 1:1 with special needs students in their homes. You do not need to be a therapist, but you do need to be comfortable working with kids who may communicate, move, and learn differently. Pay 30 minutes

• $80 What You'll Do Travel to students' homes Lead simple, engaging music sessions (instrument exploration, rhythm, basic songs) Follow the family's and The Ninth Cloud's guidelines for goals and boundaries Communicate clearly and respectfully with caregivers Show up on time, prepared, and calm
• even when sessions are unpredictable Who We're Looking For Strong musical skills on at least one instrument (piano, guitar, or voice a plus) Experience with special needs, neurodivergent, or complex kids or a genuine willingness to learn and follow training Professional, responsible, and emotionally steady Comfortable working in family homes and adapting to real-life environments (siblings, noise, pets, etc.

) Reliable transportation to and from sessions Able to commit to a consistent weekly schedule for each student Nice to Have (Not Required) Background in special education, music therapy, ABA, OT, or related fields Experience with autism, ADHD, developmental disabilities, or medical complexity Bilingual skills How to Apply Please include: A brief introduction about you and your teaching or music background Any experience you have with special needs or neurodivergent students Your general availability (days/times) and what areas you can travel to.
