Our successful candidate has:

• knowledge of instructional methods appropriate for students at the respective proficiency level.
• desire and ability to work with students at different age, background, and levels of piano proficiency.
• ability to organize tasks.
• ability to communicate effectively and timely with students, parents, school administrators and other staff.
• working familiarity with internet and email systems.
• working knowledge of acoustic and digital pianos and other studio equipment.
• knowledge of recording equipment is a plus.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

• Current Master's or Doctoral student in piano performance or pedagogy is preferred.
• Recent teaching experience, coursework, or other activity in the area of piano instruction.
• Demonstrated knowledge of current instructional strategies appropriate for students at the specified proficiency level.
• Demonstrated performance experience.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement engaging piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels.
• Create and adapt curriculum to meet the needs and interests of individual students.
• Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and productive learning environment.
