Boulevard Music Lessons is looking for a piano and vocal instructor to help support our growing business! Our studio offers private, one-on-one lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Lessons range from 30-60 minutes per student. We tailor our lessons to what our students want to focus on while still teaching fundamentals. We are looking for an educated, friendly, and flexible individual to teach piano and vocal lessons. This position would be responsible for: Teaching individual lessons with students of all ages and skill levels Creating a positive and welcoming atmosphere Communicating with students and families about lesson progress and goals An ideal candidate would have or be pursuing a degree in music education and have the following skills: Ability to teach all ages and skill levels Knowledge of the instrument and different teaching styles Ability to be punctual and keep a consistent weekly schedule Ability to teach additional instruments is a plus but not required. Lessons are held on weekdays between the hours of 3:00pm-8:00 pm and Saturdays 10:00am-3:00pm. This is not an independent contractor position and offers benefits including paid sick time and the option to participate in the NYS Secure Choice Retirement Program.
