Job Description

We have an opening for a music education teacher for the 2026-2027 school year to complement our qualified workforce of educators. The ideal candidate will be passionate about service in an elementary school environment (Kindergarten through 5th grade), supporting our students in their educational, socio-emotional, and spiritual growth. The music education teacher is responsible for providing a structured environment in the music classroom where students learn music skills based on the State of Ohio music standards. The teacher would be responsible for planning and implementing the music curriculum for students in Kindergarten through 5th grade. This position can be either a part time or a full time position. If full time, the teacher would have other student and family support duties assigned. Supports for the teacher include a team-oriented environment among the teachers, a full time curriculum and instruction coach, a strong Title I reading program, and 2 student success coaches to support student learning. The ideal candidate will have experience with teaching elementary students in a school or similar environment. Candidates are required to have a bachelor's degree. A DEW teaching license for elementary school grades is preferred.
