Music Studio Instructor

Key Responsibilities 1.Instruct and lead classes, workshops, or private lessons in collaboration with Program Director and under the supervision of the Director of Operations. These will likely occur at the Music Resource Center (MRC), but can also be off-site Outreach instruction. 2. Assist with daily operations of MRC, including but not limited to facility upkeep and food service/snack management. 3. Prepare and know instructional materials and curriculum. 4. Keep accurate attendance and membership records. 5. Administer program evaluations. 6. Assist with MRC external presence on social media and website platforms. 7. Understand the needs and goals of participants and provide them with a positive, enjoyable environment in which to achieve their goals. 8. Demonstrate a genuine interest in the mission and participate in events that advance the cause of the MRC including, but not limited to, fundraising efforts, prospective member tours, and community outreach events. 1. Earned, or in in pursuance of a Bachelor Degree in Music Education, Production, Performance; or equivalent experience. 2. Excellent contemporary presentation, written, verbal, and visual communication skills. 3. Proven track record of meeting/surpassing challenging goals, including music performance or production projects. 4. Fluent in relevant Digital Audio Workstations such as Logic Pro, Pro Tools, Ableton Life, etc. and other industry standards. Must be able to pass the 'Platinum Studio' test of the MRC to demonstrate fluency. 5. Ability to bring about, cause or influence a joint action by a number of people (staff, partnering agencies, volunteers, etc.) to achieve a desired result. 6. Must be willing to drive personal vehicle to outreach sites within the Greater Cincinnati Region and pass a Vehicular Background Check.
