Orchestral strings (intermediate or advanced). Basic piano proficiency is also required of all our private instructors. Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and energetic Private Music Instructor to join our vibrant team. In this role, you will deliver personalized music lessons tailored to students' individual goals, skill levels, and learning styles. Your enthusiasm for music and teaching will motivate students to reach their full potential while fostering a love for the arts. Responsibilities Develop customized lesson plans that align with students' musical interests, skill levels, and educational goals Teach private music lessons across various instruments and vocal styles Assess student progress regularly and adjust teaching strategies accordingly Prepare students for performances, auditions, or exams by guiding practice routines and technique development Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and attendance Foster a supportive atmosphere that encourages creativity, discipline, and enjoyment of music Skills Strong background in curriculum development tailored to individual learners' needs Proven experience in teaching music to diverse age groups, including children, teens, and adults Ability to work effectively with children Ability to adapt teaching methods for students with different learning styles or developmental stages Experience in tutoring students with special educational needs or behavioral challenges is a plus Join us at Michelle Tuesday Music School where your passion for music can inspire others!
