Description:
The Fall Marching Band Instructor is a position to help the instruction of the Mountainside Marching Ensemble during their season (Aug - Nov). The candidate will have already had an interview with either the Director of Bands and/or Marching Band Director to verify needed music and teaching qualifications. The candidate will assist in the instruction of students either in music/visual, percussion, and/or colorguard both indoors and outdoors. Candidates will adhere to Beaverton School District's Code of Conduct as well as the Mavericks Band Booster's Staff Handbook throughout their employment. Candidates are expected to attend all of band camp, weekday rehearsals, sectionals, and Saturday rehearsals/competitions. Flexibility in schedule will be discussed with the marching band director.
