Electronic Music Club is looking for instructors for our after-school elementary program! EMC provides all technology required to pass your enthusiasm for music production along to children, with flexible days/times, great entry pay, and potential growth opportunities. Electronic Music Club is a new, dynamic after-school program which teaches creative, technical, and critical thinking skills through music production. The class combines modern hardware and software with a project-based curriculum that allows students of all musical backgrounds to gain exposure to this exciting and cutting-edge field in a fun after-school environment. To qualify you MUST be available to work at least 2 afternoons per week starting at approximately 2:30 PM. Pay Range Starts at $50/ one-hour group class Duties and Responsibilities
  • Transportation of equipment to and from school sights
  • choosing appropriate class curriculum for classes
  • Working with schools to help determine classroom optimization
  • Communication with EMC administrators as well as school supervisors
  • Keeping class technology organized and safe
  • Keeping excellent records of students classes and projects
  • Exporting and uploading finished student projects Requirements and Qualifications
  • MUST PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK
  • passion for music production
  • passion for working with children
  • preferably one year teaching experience
  • Great organization and communication
  • fluency with Ableton Live and associated USB Keyboard Controllers
  • Must have your own car
  • be able to lift 50 lbs We are looking now for somebody to start early January to job shadow for one term, and to take over their own classes starting in the Spring term.
