M.U.S.E M.U.S.E
(Musical Understanding thru Sound Education) is an organization that has been offering musical instruction for over 37 years. We offer group instrumental classes for beginners and intermediate levels. Group classes are conducted after school on campus with mixed instrumentation (flute, clarinet, alto sax, trumpet, trombone, and percussion (xylophone and snare). Qualifications and Position Responsibilities Important to have classroom management skills working with groups of students ages 9-13 (Average class size 6-12 students). Basic background on teaching woodwinds, brass, and basic snare drum. If not familiar with certain instruments, we can discuss ways to manage and train you. Reliable transportation. Passion for teaching and working with young students is a must as well as being able to communicate well with parents and administrators. Implement M.U.S.E. curriculum and student practice incentives, provide students with M.U.S.E. educational resources online, preparing students for performance events throughout the year. Positions can range from 1-4 afternoons a week. Great part time job especially for performing artists or college students.
Pay:
