Location:

Music PURPOSE Instructs classes in band or orchestra so that students develop skills in instrumental technique and music reading. SKPS seeks a specialist in orchestral strings performance and teaching to lead the beginner programs at select elementary schools. This is a temporary position for the remainder of the 2025-26 school year. Multiple locations are available with classes regularly scheduled on an intermittent schedule through the week. Most classes are taught during the midday and early afternoon. Responsibilities include designing and delivering instruction for beginning students in violin, viola, cello, and bass; maintaining accurate student records; regular communication with building staff; regular communication with families; collaborative work with area colleagues to organize, manage, supervise, and produce any remaining performances in the calendar.
