We are a welcoming, student-focused music studio that provides lessons for children, teens, and adults. We are looking for a voice teacher who can help students develop their voices, confidence, musicianship, and love of performing in a positive and encouraging environment. Position Voice Instructor - Part-Time, Independent Contractor What You'll Do Teach private voice lessons to students of various ages and experience levels Develop individualized lessons based on each student's goals, interests, age, and vocal development Teach healthy vocal technique, breath support, pitch, tone, diction, and musicianship Help students develop confidence and comfort performing Select age- and skill-appropriate repertoire Prepare students for recitals, auditions, school performances, competitions, and other performance opportunities when appropriate Encourage students to develop their own musical interests and artistic expression Communicate professionally and positively with students and parents Maintain a consistent teaching schedule and reliable attendance Contribute to a supportive and collaborative studio environment Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: An experienced vocalist and voice teacher Comfortable teaching children, teenagers, and/or adults Knowledgeable about healthy vocal technique and age-appropriate instruction Patient, encouraging, and enthusiastic Reliable, organized, and professional Comfortable working with beginning students as well as more experienced singers Passionate about helping students gain confidence and develop a lifelong love of music Teaching experience is strongly preferred. A degree in music, vocal performance, music education, or a related field is preferred.
