Job Description
Kennett High School is seeking a high-energy, enthusiastic, percussion instructor to assist the Marching Band Director. Successful candidates should believe in the importance of the impact of extra-curricular activities in a child's K-12 experience. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply
Requirements:
Ability to demonstrate advanced mallet percussion techniques
Ability to demonstrate proper auxiliary percussion techniques
Ability to read a music score
Must be available on nights and weekends
Must be available for band camp
Ability to work in a team setting
Ability to give clear direction
Ability to take direction and redirection
Must be interested in supporting and working with all students
Recommended:
Audio Engineering (base knowledge of how to use a sound board)
Proper Microphone setup and usage
Willingness to drive a KCSD fleet vehicle when traveling to competitions (must have valid driver's license)
