Nature of position : Temporary, part-time
Job Summary/Basic Function:
Join Our Team at Millersville University! The Tell School of Music at Millersville University invites applications for a part-time instructor to teach Music 112: Kodály Solfège, Harmony, and Analysis at the undergraduate level. Depending on departmental needs and candidate availability, one to two courses per semester may be available. Temporary, part-time instructor responsible for teaching undergraduate courses in Music.Salary and Benefits Position Salary:
Salary and rank are commensurate with qualifications as well as aligned with the details contained in the Collective Bargaining Agreement and the Millersville University Promotion Statement . Master's Degree in music theory. Diploma in Kodály Studies from the Liszt Academy, Hungary, or Kodály Diploma from an institution accredited by the Organization of American Kodály Educators. Ability to teach diverse student populations successfully. Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills. Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations. Successful interview. Successful teaching demonstration for class teaching assignments. Successful completion of three background checks.Preferred Qualifications:
PhD or ABD in Music Theory. Prior college-level teaching experience at the undergraduate level.Days Worked:
