Job Description

The Conservatory of Music and Dance is seeking an enthusiastic, dependable, and professional Guitar Instructor to join our teaching staff. We are looking for someone who enjoys working with students of varying ages and ability levels and who is committed to providing consistent, engaging instruction throughout the school year.
Position Includes:
Private guitar lessons Beginner through advanced students Children, teens, and adults Part-time schedule with the opportunity to build a student roster Established music school with administrative support Comfortable and professional teaching environment
Reliability and Commitment Are Essential:
Must have reliable transportation Must be punctual and consistently arrive on time Must be dependable and maintain a regular teaching schedule Must be committed to the full teaching season, September through August Must be dedicated to preparing students throughout the year for recitals and performances Consistency with students and families is extremely important
Ideal Candidate:
Strong guitar performance and teaching skills Experience working with children and teens preferred Reliable, personable, and professional Able to motivate students while making lessons enjoyable Music degree or equivalent teaching/performance experience preferred The Conservatory of Music and Dance has been serving families in Montgomery County since 1989 and offers instruction in Music, Dance, and Theater. Join our faculty and make a meaningful, year-long commitment to developing the next generation of musicians.
Pay:
$25.00 - $33.00 per hour
