Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive piano lesson plans tailored to individual student needs and skill levels Conduct engaging one-on-one or group lessons that promote technical proficiency and musical expression Develop customized curricula incorporating music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance techniques Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive and disciplined learning environment Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement Prepare students for recitals, exams, or performances by guiding practice routines and stage presence Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate student achievements and areas for growth Skills Proven experience in teaching piano across diverse age groups, including children, teens, and adults Strong knowledge of curriculum development tailored to various skill levels and learning styles Excellent classroom management skills to maintain an organized and encouraging environment Ability to create engaging lesson plans that incorporate music theory, sight-reading, ear training, and performance skills Experience working with children in early childhood education or preschool settings is a plus Familiarity with special education needs to adapt teaching methods accordingly Skills in tutoring students with different learning paces and behavioral management techniques Knowledge of additional arts such as theater, dance (ballet/dancing), or photography enhances the ability to integrate creative arts into lessons Ability to foster childhood development through musical activities that promote cognitive and emotional growth Experience in culinary arts or sewing is not required but demonstrates versatility in creative instruction Join us as a Piano Instructor to ignite passion for music in our community!
