San Antonio, TX Pay:
$30 per teaching hour at the studio; $50 per teaching hour for in-home lessons Cruz Music Studio is seeking a dependable, encouraging music instructor to teach private piano and voice lessons to children, teens, and adults. We handle student enrollment, scheduling, billing, teaching materials, and administrative communication with families so you can focus on teaching and helping students grow. Responsibilities Provide engaging lessons tailored to each student's abilities and goals. Teach healthy technique, music reading, musicianship, and appropriate repertoire. Arrive punctually and prepared to use studio-provided materials. Provide clear practice assignments and brief student progress updates. Maintain a welcoming, professional environment. Communicate scheduling concerns promptly to the studio director. Qualifications Proficiency in piano and/or voice, with the ability to teach your specialty confidently. Patience and strong communication skills when working with different ages and experience levels. Dependability and consistent weekly availability. Previous teaching experience preferred. A music degree, current music studies, or equivalent professional experience preferred. Reliable transportation for any accepted in-home assignments.
Compensation and Scheduling Studio lessons:
$30 per hour of instruction. Lessons in students' homes: $50 per hour of instruction. Shorter lessons are paid proportionally to their duration. Part-time schedule based on instructor availability and student enrollment; weekly hours may vary. We aim to group lessons consecutively whenever possible. In-home assignments and travel areas are agreed upon in advance. Expectations and compensation for any required preparation, meetings, travel time, or mileage, along with cancellation pay policies, will be provided in writing before teaching begins. What We Provide Student recruitment and enrollment. Scheduling and payment collection. Teaching space for studio lessons. Curriculum resources and teaching materials.
