Full Job Description About Us:

At Providence Music Lessons, it is our mission to provide a unique learning experience for children and adults that goes beyond technical proficiency. Through compassionate expertise, we help students identify their natural abilities and teach them how to make their voices heard through an instrument.

Position Overview:

We are currently seeking passionate and talented music teachers who share our vision of musical education. As a Music Teacher at Providence Music Lessons, you will have the opportunity to inspire and guide students on their musical journeys, helping them uncover their natural abilities and harness their creative potential. We are specifically looking for teachers in the following disciplines: Voice, Guitar, Piano, and Drum are our highest priority areas right now, but teachers of any instrument are welcome to apply

Responsibilities:

Provide individualized music lessons that cater to the unique needs and goals of each student. Create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that fosters creativity and self-expression. Help students develop fundamental skills, techniques, and a deep understanding of music theory. Encourage students to perform and share their music, building their confidence and stage presence. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate various learning styles and abilities. Prepare students for performances, auditions, and music examinations, when applicable. Maintain accurate records of student progress and communicate effectively with parents or guardians.

Requirements:

A strong passion for music education and a commitment to our mission. Proficiency in your respective instrument Previous teaching experience is preferred but not required. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. A reliable vehicle and willingness to travel to students' homes for lessons.

Timeliness:

the ability to manage ones own schedule and show up to lessons on time
