Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Piano Teacher to join our team! Teaching multiple instruments is a plus (and gets you more students!) Other instruments not listed will be under consideration. The ideal candidate will have a background in music and ideally experience educating children and/or adults. This role involves educating students in various musical concepts, fostering a love for music, and developing engaging curricula that cater to the diverse needs of all learners. Duties Develop and implement a comprehensive music curriculum that aligns with educational standards and promotes creativity. Educate students on fundamental music concepts, including rhythm, melody, and harmony. Facilitate engaging lessons that incorporate various musical styles and instruments. Utilize classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning environment. Provide individualized support and tutoring to students as needed to enhance their understanding of music. Organize performances and showcase events to encourage student participation in theater and ballet. Collaborate with other educators to integrate music into broader educational initiatives. Assess student progress and adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of all learners. Qualifications Strong background in music. Experience in education, tutoring, or providing individualized instruction is preferred. Familiarity with teaching strategies to create an effective learning environment. A passion for music and the ability to inspire students through creative teaching methods. Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
