Incorporate educational technology and learning tools to enhance instructional effectiveness and student engagement. Assess student progress regularly through performances, exams, and portfolio reviews; provide constructive feedback to support growth. Manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive, inclusive environment that respects cultural diversity. Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum implementation, school events, and extracurricular activities such as concerts or competitions. Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress, behavior, and upcoming performances or projects. Adapt instructional strategies to meet the needs of students with special education requirements or different learning styles. Mentor students in developing their musical skills, confidence, and teamwork through coaching and guidance. Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards while maintaining high classroom responsibilities management. Header Experience Proven high school teaching experience with a focus on music education in diverse classroom settings. Strong knowledge of music theory, history, performance techniques, and curriculum development. Experience working with students from various cultural backgrounds and those with special education needs. Familiarity with standardized testing in arts education and assessment methods for musical proficiency. Demonstrated ability to integrate educational technology effectively into lesson planning and instruction. Excellent communication skills for parent-teacher interactions, public speaking engagements, and team collaboration. Previous involvement in extracurricular activities such as sports coaching or library services is a plus but not required. Experience working in private or independent school environments is advantageous but not mandatory.
