Job Description
Role Overview We are looking for a warm, energetic, and creative Music Teacher to lead fun and engaging music classes for preschool and elementary-aged students. This is a small part-time position for approximately 4 hours per week . We are looking for someone who enjoys working with children, loves music, and can create a positive and enjoyable classroom experience. Responsibilities Lead fun, age-appropriate music classes for young children Incorporate singing, rhythm, movement, instruments, and musical games Introduce simple musical concepts such as rhythm, tempo, pitch, and steady beat Encourage children to participate, explore, and enjoy music Create a warm and positive classroom environment Occasionally coordinate with classroom teachers around school themes, holidays, or special programs Help keep instruments and music materials organized
Schedule & Compensation Hours:
Approximately 4 hours per week Schedule can be spread across 1-2 days, will be finalized with theDirector Position:
Part-Time, W-2Employee Compensation:
$25-$35/hour, depending on experience Qualifications Enjoys working with preschool and elementary-aged children Comfortable singing and leading musical activities Some experience teaching, working with children, or leading music groups preferred Reliable, positive, and engaging Must be able to pass required background checks and fingerprintingPay:
