Piano Instructor Stereo Lizard LLC Austin, TX Job Details Part-time | Contract $33 - $35 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Music Piano Music Education Teaching experience with young children Adult education Full Job Description Piano Instructor — Stereo Lizard Music School (Austin, TX) Starting at $33/hour • Part-time • Weekday afternoons About Us Stereo Lizard Music School has served Austin families for nearly three years, with a community of over one hundred students ranging from preschoolers to adult hobbyists. We're a small, close team that cares about steady progress — and about students who actually enjoy showing up. Schedule & Pay Primarily weekday afternoons and early evenings A roster of 10-20 students Starting at $33/hour, based on experience and qualifications What You'll Do Teach private and semi-private piano lessons (30 and 45 minutes) Possibly lead small group classes for younger children Work with both children and adults Track each student's progress and adjust pace as needed Prepare students for our seasonal recitals Keep families informed about attendance and progress What We're Looking For Strong classical training and formal music education (degree or conservatory) Teaching experience with children, teens, and adult students Comfort with both classical and popular repertoire Reliable scheduling and warm, clear communication with parents A warm, charismatic presence — someone students look forward to seeing every week
