Conduct one-on-one and group lessons, focusing on technique, music theory, genre specific styles, and performance skills. Create a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that promotes student engagement and enthusiasm for learning. Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to help them improve. Incorporate various teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, including behavior management techniques when necessary. Prepare students for recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and foster a sense of community. Collaborate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress and address any concerns. Requirements A bachelor's degree in music Proven experience as a piano teacher or in a similar educational role is preferred. Strong knowledge of music theory, piano techniques, and curriculum development. Background in early childhood education or special education is a plus. Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage students effectively. Experience in childcare or related fields is beneficial for understanding student needs.
