In this role, you will foster a love for music, develop tailored lesson plans, and create a positive learning environment that encourages growth and confidence. Whether working with children, teenagers, or adults, your enthusiasm and expertise will help students unlock their musical potential and enjoy the journey of learning the piano. We are looking for an experienced teacher who shares are company values and is excited to contribute meaningfully to our faculty's culture of teamwork and collaboration. Company Values Student-Centered Education-Focused Community-Based Family-Engaged Collaborative and Supportive Communicative and Responsive Responsibilities Design and implement comprehensive piano curricula tailored to each student's age, skill level, and musical interests Deliver engaging lessons/classes that incorporate technical skills, music theory, sight-reading, and performance techniques Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a respectful and motivating atmosphere for all learners Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Prepare students for recital performances Adapt teaching methods to accommodate students with diverse needs Maintain detailed records of lesson plans, student progress, and attendance to ensure consistent tracking of development Maintain a consistent weekly schedule of lessons/classes Support the team by substitute teaching for other Piano Department faculty members whenever possible Communicate regularly with Piano Department Chair, Studio Director, and Assistant Director in 1:1 meetings and department meetings Respond promptly to phone/email communications from parents, caregivers, the Piano Department Chair, the Studio Director, and the Assistant Director Communicate respectfully and encouragingly with parents to foster successful practice habits at home Participate in studio-wide professional development activities/events Experience Proven experience in teaching piano to students across various age groups, including children, teenagers, and adults Strong background in curriculum development and lesson planning tailored to individual learning styles Classroom management skills that foster a positive environment conducive to learning and creativity Join us in shaping the next generation of musicians by sharing your expertise and passion for piano!
