Piano Teacher / Voice Teacher / Guitar Teacher

About Us A new music school in the heart of buzzing Oak Cliff is looking for skilled musicians with a passion for teaching their craft to mostly children, but adults alike to join our growing team as our new music teacher. BOCO is an after-school music program founded by credentialed, college level instructors as well as working professional musicians who have real careers in the music industry. This gives our students the advantage of not only learning the fundamentals like sight reading, music theory, and notation. but also allows for real hands-on experience in stage presence, band etiquette, and industry do's and don'ts. We are recruiting Voice & piano teacher to lead private and semi-private in person lessons for very beginning players of all ages (ages 5+) for after school enrichment programs. Afternoon availability throughout the week is needed. This is an ensemble driven program that encourages our students to participate in our RJAM ensemble program. Responsibilities
  • Music Degree required.
  • Ability to read music and teach others to read music.
  • Create fun, engaging atmosphere for students to thrive.
  • Engage with parents about their child's productivity.
  • Recital student/teacher performance assistance on stage as needed.
Multi-instrumentalists and multi-discipline artists are welcome.
Job Types:
Part-time, Contract Pay:
$30.00 - $50.00 per hour
