This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to foster creativity, develop technical skills, and cultivate a love for the arts through engaging instruction. Whether focusing on piano, voice, or both, you will design personalized lesson plans that promote growth, confidence, and artistic expression. Responsibilities Develop comprehensive curriculum plans tailored to students' skill levels and goals in piano and/or voice instruction Deliver engaging lessons that incorporate fundamental music theory, technique, performance skills, and creative expression Manage classroom environments effectively, ensuring a positive and disciplined atmosphere conducive to learning Adapt teaching methods to accommodate diverse learning styles, including working with children and students with special needs Incorporate elements of choreography, dance instruction, or theater when appropriate to enhance performance skills Track student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to motivate improvement Organize recitals or performances to showcase student achievements and foster confidence in public settings Qualifications Proven experience teaching piano, voice, or other musical instruments with a focus on creative arts instruction Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management techniques Experience working with children, youth programs, or early childhood education environments Knowledge of choreography, dance instruction, theater arts, or related performing arts is highly desirable Familiarity with behavior management strategies and childhood development principles Ability to work effectively with students of varying ages and skill levels while maintaining a positive learning atmosphere Additional skills in photography, sewing, cooking, childcare or culinary arts are a plus but not required Join us in inspiring the next generation of musicians!
