The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and students, with a focus on creating engaging and educational music lessons for neurodivergent and neurotypical students. If you have a love for music and teaching, we welcome you to apply.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement music lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels
  • Instruct students on music theory, history, and practical skills such as playing instruments or singing
  • Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student participation and creativity
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to enhance their musical abilities
  • Coordinate and conduct performances or recitals showcasing students' achievements
Experience:
  • Experience working with children or students in a teaching capacity
  • Familiarity with behavior management techniques in an educational setting
  • Background in special education or preschool teaching is beneficial
  • Understanding of childhood development principles
  • Previous experience teaching music in a classroom setting
