We are seeking instructors who are interested in long-term employment and are committed to our school's schedule, annual calendar, teaching standards, and policies.
Part-time:
3-5 days per week
Full-time:
6-7 days per week Duties Conduct engaging, interactive classes that promote musical understanding, performance skills, and artistic expression Incorporate YAMS curriculum development techniques to enhance lesson quality and student engagement Participation in recitals, performances, or showcases to give students opportunities to demonstrate their skills Collaborate with parents or guardians to communicate student progress and address any learning challenges Maintain accurate records of attendance, lesson plans, and student achievements Foster a supportive environment that encourages creativity, confidence, and personal growth in students of all ages Qualifications & Requirements Proven experience teaching voice, guitar, or piano in educational or private settings with children and adults Ability to teach voice, guitar, or piano to children, teenagers, and adults. Experience teaching private and group lessons. Ability to work with students with disabilities and learning difficulties, adapting instruction to their individual needs. Strong communication skills and proficiency in English. Passion for teaching, creativity, patience, and a positive attitude. Ability to create engaging, age-appropriate lessons while maintaining high standards of musical instruction. Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to students' homes for in-home lessons when required. Ability to teach online lessons. Ability to pass a background check. Ability to work wi children as young at 3 years old (training provided) Key Responsibilities Provide high-quality private and group instruction in voice, guitar, or piano. Develop students' technical skills, musicianship, musical expression, and performance abilities through structured, engaging lessons. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different ages, skill levels, learning styles, and individual needs. Prepare students for recitals, performances, examinations, and other school events as required. Communication & Teamwork Maintain professional and effective communication with students, parents, fellow instructors, and school administration. Collaborate with the school's leadership team to achieve educational goals, support school programs, and maintain a positive learning environment. Go through training and follow advise of directors and administration team. Follow teacher's policies and School's rules. Professionalism & Time Management Arrive on time for all scheduled lessons and events. Follow the school's teaching guidelines, annual calendar, policies, and administrative procedures. Maintain accurate lesson records and communicate student progress and scheduling concerns to the administration. Commitment to the School Instructors are expected to participate in school recitals, performances, and other required events and demonstrate a strong commitment to the school's mission and educational standards.
