Job Description

Seeking a Vocal/Keys Instrumentalist (Part-Time/Flexible) We are looking for talented and passionate musicians with a strong understanding of theory, technique, and the history of music. We are looking for that special Vocal/Keyboard (either or both) Instructor for our school
  • however, being able to teach multiple instruments is a plus and will allow you to fill schedule faster.
We are seeking musicians with a performance background (active gigging preferred). We cater to working musicians who are looking for supplemental income. Typical schedules range from 1 day/week to 5 days/week. We teach through songs ranging from Queen to Metallica, Motown to the Beatles, Punk to Pop and everything in between. We teach kids ages 7+ to adult, curriculum provided. Our program includes private lessons, group rehearsals, and season shows. Our hours are 330-845pm Mon-Thursdays, 10-5 on Saturdays.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement music lesson plans for students of various ages and skill levels
  • Teach music theory, techniques, and performance skills
  • Provide individual and group instruction to students
  • Create a positive and engaging learning environment
  • Foster a love for music and inspire students to explore their musical talents
  • Collaborate with other teachers and staff to coordinate performances and events
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
