(Ideally within 10-20 miles) We are seeking highly qualified individuals with an understanding of music theory who exemplify professionalism and transparency, with strong communication skills, a desire to grow in teaching skills, and a passion for seeing students grow in their understanding of music. Most of our current instructors have waitlists of students needing a teacher. The bulk of our need is in piano & guitar instruction, but we have drum, vocal, and string leads, too! Our aim is to be the trusted source for in-home music education in DFW. Expectations Complete understanding and utilization of "ZMC Resources" to prepare for each lesson, recitals, etc. Teaching in alignment with our company values & mission (with appropriate attire) Logging lessons by end of day on Student Portal (MyMusicStaff) Communication/Transparency in all regards including, but not limited to: communicating schedule changes, availability, and make-up lessons, asking questions when unsure of something, reaching out to parents if running late, etc. Recital prep & attendance 2-3 times throughout the year Watch & summarize monthly company update videos posted in Slack Instructor development assignments via lesson audio recordings, lesson forms, performance reviews, etc. More Information Our initial contracts are held for 4 months, concluding with a Performance Review and a continuation offer You will receive ACH Direct Deposit payment monthly on the 4th Friday of each month We provide lesson resources to help keep you organized with your students progress and lesson success We provide you with a Slack account for efficient internal communication Background checks and Child Abuse Awareness & Prevention Training (provided and paid for by ZMC) required. Bonuses distributed annually $100 Referral Bonuses if you refer other instructors and we hire them!
