Maestro Musicians Academy is seeking an engaging and dependable Voice Teacher to join our growing music program in Prosper, Texas and the surrounding North Texas area . Maestro Musicians Academy is expanding into Prosper/Frisco/Celina, Texas. During this initial stage of growth, lessons are provided in students' homes , allowing us to serve families throughout the Prosper area while we build enrollment toward establishing a dedicated local teaching location. We are looking for a teacher who is excited about growing with us and making a meaningful difference in the lives of young musicians. Position Overview We are seeking an experienced voice teacher to provide one-on-one singing lessons primarily to children and teens in their homes. The ideal teacher combines excellent musicianship and vocal technique with warmth, patience, and an ability to connect with young students. Lessons should help students develop healthy vocal technique, musical independence, confidence, and expressive ability while working with repertoire appropriate to their age, voice, interests, and goals. Responsibilities Teach engaging one-on-one voice lessons in students' homes Develop healthy, age-appropriate vocal technique Teach musicianship, breathing, diction, interpretation, and performance skills Select appropriate repertoire based on each student's age, interests, and ability Create a positive and encouraging learning environment Communicate student progress with families Maintain lesson notes and attendance records Prepare interested students for recitals and other performance opportunities Travel reliably to students within the designated teaching area Qualifications We are especially interested in candidates who have: Bachelor's degree in Voice, Vocal Performance, Music Education, or a related music field Strong vocal and musicianship skills Previous private teaching experience Experience teaching children and teens Knowledge of healthy, age-appropriate vocal technique Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Dependability and professionalism Reliable transportation and willingness to travel locally between students' homes Graduate-level musical training is welcomed but not required. Schedule Part-time Afternoons, evenings, and/or weekends. Student schedules will be coordinated based on teacher availability and enrollment. Because lessons currently take place in students' homes, candidates must have reliable transportation and be comfortable traveling within the Prosper area and nearby communities.
