Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and passionate Music Teacher to inspire students through creative arts instruction. This paid position involves developing engaging music curricula, managing classrooms effectively, and working with children ages 1 year to 6 years old. The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm for teaching music and arts, along with experience in dance, theater, and visual arts, to cultivate a vibrant learning atmosphere. The hours for this position are Mondays or Wednesdays 3 hours ( 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM) once a week. Duties Design and implement comprehensive music curricula tailored to diverse student needs Lead classroom activities that incorporate singing, instrument playing, choreography, dance instruction, and theater performance Manage classroom behavior to create a positive and productive learning environment Plan engaging lessons that promote childhood development, early childhood education principles, and creative expression Requirements Proven experience working with children in educational or preschool settings Strong background in teaching music, performing arts, choreography, dance instruction, or theater Knowledge of curriculum development and lesson planning for early childhood or preschool education Ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering creativity and enthusiasm Skills in working with musical instruments for preschool students Excellent communication skills and a passion for inspiring young learners in the arts Kindermusik experience preferred Join us at Cambridge Montessori School where your passion for music and the arts can ignite a lifelong love of learning in children!
