The ideal candidate will have experience working with students in various educational settings, particularly with ages 7 and up. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development and effective behavior management techniques. The Instructor will be responsible for creating engaging lessons that incorporate elements of theater, piano/accompaniment if needed, contemporary, and pop voice, and other creative activities to foster a love for learning among students. Responsibilities Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students. Utilize behavior management strategies to maintain a positive classroom environment. Provide instruction in various subjects, including but not limited to theater, dance, and sewing. Foster an inclusive atmosphere that encourages student participation and creativity. Monitor student progress and provide individualized support as needed. Collaborate with parents and guardians to discuss student development and progress. Maintain a safe and organized classroom environment conducive to learning. Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance instructional skills. Requirements Experience working with students is preferred. Strong knowledge of childhood development principles. Proficiency in behavior management techniques. Familiarity with classroom management strategies. Experience or interest in teaching subjects such as voice, piano, and theater.
