Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Piano Teacher to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for teaching piano lessons to students of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels. This role requires a passion for music, a commitment to education, and the ability to connect with students of all ages.   • Provide individualized piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels, including those with special needs.
  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that cater to students' interests and learning styles.
  • Utilize various teaching methods to ensure students' understanding and progress.
  • Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment, promoting students' self-esteem and confidence.
  • Monitor students' progress and adjust teaching methods as needed.
  • Prepare students for recitals, exams, competitions, and other performance opportunities.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent curriculum and standards.
  • Participate in school events and performances to promote the music program.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress and attendance.
  • Engage in professional development to stay current with best practices in music education. Requirements
  • Proficiency in piano performance with a solid foundation in classical repertoire.
  • A proven track record of experience working with students of all ages and backgrounds.
  • Strong knowledge of music theory and piano pedagogy.
  • Experience in classroom management, behavior management, and adult education preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work with students with special needs and early childhood education.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and interactive lesson plans.
  • Certification or licensure in music education or a related field a plus.
  • A commitment to ongoing professional development.
