Volz Method Piano Lessons is looking for a Traveling Piano Teacher to teach private piano lessons in students' homes in Utah. You do not need to be an advanced concert pianist or already be an experienced piano teacher. If you have at least intermediate piano skills , good musicianship, and enjoy working with children, we provide extensive paid training in our teaching method. Requirements You must:

Have at least an intermediate level of piano ability Have reliable transportation Be willing to drive to students' homes within an assigned area, usually covering a few nearby cities Be able to commit to the position for 2 years Be available to teach at least 10 hours per week Have significant availability between 4:00 PM and 8:00 PM Monday-Friday Availability between 1:00 PM and 8:00 PM Monday-Friday is preferred Enjoy working with children Complete our short application form You can determine how many total hours you would like to teach as long as you teach a minimum of 10 hours per week. Who Usually Does Well in This Position? You may be a particularly good fit if: You have wanted to become a music teacher or piano teacher You are studying music, piano, music education, or a related field You have experience as a piano accompanist You are a strong sight-reader, or you have other skills such as playing by ear, arranging music, composing your own music, or jazz improv You play piano for church, school, choir, theater, or other organizations You currently or have taught private music/piano lessons You love music and want a music-related job You enjoy working with children Pianists, piano teachers, piano instructors, music teachers, music instructors, or piano accompanists are especially encouraged to apply.
