Washington Terrace (near Bonneville High School) and Clearfield (on Antelope Drive). We teach group lessons and also private lessons. We are open Monday through Friday. We teach hundreds of students between our two locations. We cater mainly to children. We also welcome adult students. We realize that most of our students will not become professional musicians. We strive to provide a fun and positive learning environment for students. We want students to enjoy learning and be happy and excited to attend lessons. We have an organized teaching curriculum which all teachers are required to follow. Why teach with us? Why should you consider teaching with us? At Music Academy of Utah, teacher responsibilities include: Able to plan and teach lessons to students of various ages and styles Provide individualized instruction to each student Maintain positive relationships with students, parents and other staff members Track student's progress Assist in recitals twice each year Able to follow teaching curriculum effectively Able to adapt teaching style to help student learn effectivelySkills Needed:
Excellent communication skills Proven teaching ability Positive energy Great interpersonal skills! Must be able to connect with people of all ages and skill levels Well-organized Teach creatively Strong moral values Degree in Music Education/Music Performance not required, but is always a plus Must be able to demonstrate playing and teaching ability during interview Check us out!
