Job Overview We are looking for piano teachers, voice teachers, violin teachers and guitar teachers for our new and fast growing music academy
•Asuza Music Academy (formerly known as Burke Piano Academy). We are hiring immediately, particularly piano instructors for which students are already lined up. We offer competitive pay
•according to credentials. Bachelors Degrees in Music or Music Education, Masters Degrees in Music or Music Education and DMA's can apply. Playing/ singing ability is important with an ability to engage with kids and keep them interested. CPT/ OPT or other US Government work authorizations are accepted for non-US citizens applying for the positions. Duties Teaching private lessons to students of various ages and backgrounds. Create curriculum and tailor it to individual students in their own individual styles. Prepare students for recitals and competitions. Maintain a safe, inclusive space that encourages creativity while adhering to childcare and childhood development best practices. Skills Expertise in your instrument/ voice. Keeping kids engaged even if they have lower attention spans. Good communication skills and friendliness. An ability to build a rapport with students and their parents. Ability to adapt to situations and wisely handle conflict. The teacher will need to commute to the Academy
•according to the days of the week they are scheduled and need a reliable vehicle and driver's license.
Pay:
$45.00
•$60.00 per hour Expected hours: 5.0
•15.0 per week
