Job Summary Are you an energetic guitarist who loves passing on the joy of music? We are seeking an outgoing, passionate Guitar Instructor to lead 45-minute small group guitar classes on Tuesday evenings in the Centreville area, starting this September. Our classes cater to students from ages 6 through adult , organized thoughtfully by age and ability level. We focus on building well-rounded musicians while fostering a fun, community-driven classroom environment. You will teach primarily from established method books while supplementing lessons with popular songs across various eras and genres. This position starts at one evening per week (Tuesdays) beginning in September, with strong potential to expand to additional nights quickly based on enrollment. Responsibilities Lead engaging, structured 45-minute small group guitar lessons (ages 6-Adult). Follow core method book curricula while integrating supplemental songs tailored to student interests. Create a welcoming, encouraging environment that fosters a love for music and community among students. Adapt instruction efficiently within the 45-minute time block to keep students engaged and on track. Maintain clear communication regarding student progress and attendance.

Qualifications & Requirements Classroom Experience:

Proven experience teaching music in a group or classroom setting is required.

Background Check:

Must be willing to undergo a standard background check prior to hire.

Personality:

High energy, outgoing, patient, and truly enthusiastic about working with both young beginners and adult learners.

Musical Proficiency:

Strong technical foundation on guitar and ability to read notation, tab and chords.

Reliability:
