Job Description
Overview We are seeking a warm, energetic, and creative Early Childhood Music Instructor to inspire our youngest learners through joyful, engaging, and developmentally appropriate music classes. This role focuses on infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children with their parents or caregivers. You will introduce children to rhythm, melody, movement, and basic musical concepts in a fun, nurturing environment that supports early development, confidence, and creativity. This paid, in-person position offers a wonderful opportunity to make a meaningful impact during the most important years of a child's growth. Responsibilities Design and lead engaging early childhood music classes for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers with parents or caregivers. Incorporate singing, movement, rhythm instruments, and early musical games into each class. Create a joyful, welcoming, and supportive classroom environment for young children and families. Adapt lessons to different developmental stages and learning styles. Support early listening skills, motor coordination, social interaction, and musical curiosity. Communicate with parents about class activities, progress, and home practice ideas. Participate in special events such as open houses, recitals, and birthday parties when needed. Maintain accurate attendance and basic class records. Qualifications Bachelor in music education or a related field Experience working with infants, toddlers, and preschool-aged children. Strong singing voice and basic piano or ukulele, guitar skills preferred. Warm, patient, and enthusiastic personality. Comfort leading group classes with parents present. Strong communication and classroom management skills. Reliability and professionalism. Compensation Competitive hourly rates based on experience, with additional pay for birthday parties and special events.
