Moon School of Music is hiring! Moon School of Music is dedicated to nurturing musical excellence in a welcoming and inspiring environment. Our faculty consists of passionate, highly skilled musicians who guide students toward artistic growth while fostering confidence and a love for music. We believe that Guitar training should be both technically rigorous and creatively fulfilling, helping students find and refine their unique voices.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Guitar instructor to join our esteemed faculty. The ideal candidate is not only a skilled guitarist but also a dedicated educator who can inspire and develop students of all ages and skill levels.
Responsibilities:
Teach private and/or group voice lessons, customizing instruction to individual needs Help students develop proper vocal technique, breath control, and expressive performance skills Prepare students for recitals, auditions, and competitions Encourage healthy vocal habits and confidence in performance Collaborate with fellow faculty members to maintain the school's high standard of instruction Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and goals
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Guitar Performance, Music Education, or a related field Experience teaching voice to students of various ages and skill levels Strong pedagogical skills with knowledge of different vocal styles and techniques Ability to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles and musical goals Experience with audition and recital preparation is a plus Why Join Us?
