Job Description

Job Summary Join our vibrant team at the European Academy of Arts Tysons campus as a dedicated instructor in piano, voice, guitar, and violin. In this dynamic role, you will inspire students of all ages to explore their musical talents, develop their technical skills, and foster a lifelong love for the arts. Your passion for teaching and your expertise in various instruments and vocal performance will help cultivate a creative and engaging learning environment. Duties Deliver engaging and personalized lessons in piano, voice, guitar, and violin tailored to students' individual goals and skill levels Develop comprehensive curricula that incorporate technical skill-building, music theory, performance techniques, and creative expression Manage classroom activities to ensure a positive, disciplined, and inclusive environment that encourages student participation Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to support continuous improvement Organize and supervise student performances, recitals, and showcases to build confidence and showcase talent Collaborate with fellow instructors on interdisciplinary projects such as choreography, dance instruction, theater productions, or visual arts programs Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress reports, lesson plans, and student achievements Requirements Proven experience teaching musical instruments (piano, guitar, violin) or vocal performance to diverse age groups Strong background in curriculum development tailored for beginner through advanced students Experience working with children and youth programs; familiarity with childhood development principles is highly desirable Knowledge of classroom management techniques to foster respectful and productive learning environments Skills in choreography, dance instruction (including ballet), theater arts or related creative arts are a plus Ability to work effectively with students of varying skill levels while maintaining high standards of behavior management Demonstrated expertise in teaching arts-related subjects such as visual & performing arts or creative performance techniques Experience with tutoring or adult education programs is advantageous Additional skills in photography, sewing, or childcare can enhance your versatility as an instructor Join us at the European Academy of Arts Tysons campus where your passion for the arts can inspire future generations! Pay:
$45.00 - $55.00 per hour Expected hours: 2.0 - 20.0 per week
